A supportive family can be key
Q. My baby is breastfeeding well but will not drink from a bottle, why is this?
iBreastfeed is a new campaign aimed at giving new parents in Hull the confidence to breastfeed their babies.
Launched by NHS Hull, iBreastfeed is about supporting new parents by getting rid of the myths and providing the right information to allow new mums and dads to make an informed choice about breastfeeding.
iBreastfeed is part of a social marketing programme that looked at the perceptions and barriers to breastfeeding for Hull parents. The information, facts and links found on this site are about giving Hull parents the tools needed to make an informed decision and see that choice through with as much support as possible.
The campaign showcases real Hull parents who breastfeed alongside everything you need to know about the topic; from nipple confusion to what to wear - it's all here!
It's not just a website too - you can follow us on Facebook or read our magazine 'Feed', which you can find at your local health centre, children's centre or by asking your midwife.
If you still haven't got the answers you need, use our 'Ask the midwife' feature to get the support and information you need to give your baby the best start in life.
