About iBreastfeed

iBreastfeed is a new campaign aimed at giving new parents in Hull the confidence to breastfeed their babies.

Launched by NHS Hull, iBreastfeed is about supporting new parents by getting rid of the myths and providing the right information to allow new mums and dads to make an informed choice about breastfeeding.

iBreastfeed is part of a social marketing programme that looked at the perceptions and barriers to breastfeeding for Hull parents. The information, facts and links found on this site are about giving Hull parents the tools needed to make an informed decision and see that choice through with as much support as possible.

The campaign showcases real Hull parents who breastfeed alongside everything you need to know about the topic; from proper positioning and attachment to what to wear and how to support your partner - it's all here!

Plus, the iBreastfeed campaign is so much more than just this website - you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter, watch our video tutorials on YouTube, or read our magazine 'Feed', which you can find at your local health centre or children's centre, along with our posters, postcards and flyers.

If you still haven't got the answers you are looking for, use our 'Ask the midwife' feature to get the support and information you need to give your baby the best start in life.
